The Human Rights Department at Alnoor University organizes a workshop on marriage contracts outside the court.
In the presence of Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Alnoor University, the Human Rights Department at Alnoor University organized a special workshop as part of the Continuing Education Program on the topic "Marriage Contracts Outside the Court and Their Impact on the Wife’s Rights." The workshop took place on Tuesday morning, October 8, 2024. The workshop was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Qaidar Ahmed Mahmoud, a faculty member at the College of Law. It featured three lectures by faculty members from the College of Law at the university. The first lecture, titled "Reasons Behind the Trend Towards Concluding Marriage Contracts Outside the Court," was delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Nashwan Muhammad Suleiman Al-Jaderchi, Dean of the College of Law. The second lecture, titled "The Negative Implications of Marriage Outside the Court on the Wife’s Rights," was given by Dr. Ranaa Saad Al-Soufi. The third lecture, titled "The Penalties Resulting from Marriage Contracts Outside the Court," was delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Fares Ahmed Ismail.
