نبذة عن القسم
The College of Law is a pioneering entity within the university, having begun its operations in 2013. It prepares students in various fields of law over four years of study, after which graduates receive a Bachelor's degree in Law. The college boasts specialized faculty members with extensive experience in teaching and working in various state institutions related to the field of law.
اهداف القسم
Preparing graduates qualified to work in Iraqi courts and practice law, as well as a generation of outstanding employees in state departments to defend the oppressed. The college aims to organize annual scientific conferences that serve the community in the legal field, collaborate with civil society organizations and peer colleges to spread legal awareness through seminars, study sessions, and field visits. Additionally, it seeks to engage with legal developments through modern technologies and virtual libraries.

The College of Law strives for excellence and innovation, aiming to blend tradition with modernity by promoting legal culture that helps achieve justice. This is done through the thorough preparation of students via both theoretical and practical study of various legal theories.

Preparing students with legal, educational, social, and ethical qualifications to lead a key role in society by defending people's rights. The college aims to provide students with modern knowledge in various legal specialties, while also enhancing their skills through scientific research and reports. This process seeks to develop a generation of legal professionals equipped with a strong legal culture to serve the community.
Graduate Description
The graduate of the College of Law is a specialist with a comprehensive understanding of legal concepts and legislative systems. They are distinguished by their ability to analyze and interpret legal texts and provide legal consultations, in addition to their skills in legal research and defending the rights of individuals and institutions. The law graduate works in various fields, including advocacy, judiciary, legal consultancy, and relevant governmental positions related to legislation and law.
