The Dean of the College of Law at Alnoor University publishes a research paper in a Q1-ranked Scopus-indexed journal.

A new research paper by Assistant Professor Dr.Ahmed mustafa ali mustafaDean of the College of Law at ,College of Law has been accepted for publication in the prestigious Spanish journal Retos, which specializes in social sciences and is ranked Q1 in the Scopus database. The paper is titled: “The Role of Criminal Justice in Enhancing Punitive Measures for Sports-Related Offenses: A Multivariate Comparative Study” It is considered a pioneering study that addresses sports-related crimes such as doping, match-fixing, and acts of violence, through a comparative analysis involving seven countries with diverse legal systems and cultural contexts. The study's findings highlighted the importance of clear legal frameworks and effective institutional coordination in reducing the recurrence of sports-related crimes and enhancing public trust. It called for the adoption of globally unified standards to safeguard the integrity of sports. This achievement reaffirms the distinction of the College of Law at Alnoor University and its scientific leadership in addressing contemporary and complex legal issues both locally and internationally.
