The Women's Empowerment Unit at Alnoor University opens the file on violence against women.

The Women's Empowerment Unit at Alnoor University held a workshop titled "Combating Violence Against Women: Enhancing Awareness and Social Responsibility" on Monday, November 25, 2024.
The workshop was supervised by Dr. Walaa Abdul Wahid Abdul Aziz. It featured four lectures: "Legislations and Laws for Protecting Women from Violence" by Dr. Rana Saad Shaker, faculty member in the College of Law. "Defining Violence in General, Understanding Forms of Violence Against Women, and the Causes of Violence" by Dr. Zeina Dabean Mohammed Zaki. "The Psychological and Social Impacts of Violence on Women and Families, Prevention Methods, Psychological Support for Victims, and the Role of Education in Raising Awareness of the Risks of Violence" by Dr. Lubna Mohammed Ahmed. "The Role of Society and Media in Addressing Violence Against Women" by Dr. Noor Taha Sultan. The event aimed to raise awareness and address the importance of combating violence against women through various perspectives.
