Alnoor Journal of Legal Studies publishes a new research on the legal protection of healthcare institutions and medical staff

Alnoor Journal of Legal Studies, one of the peer-reviewed scientific journals published by Alnoor University, has published a new scientific research paper by Assistant Professor Dr. Fares Ahmed Ismail, a faculty member at the College of Law and Political Science at Alnoor University, entitled: 'Violation of Legal Protection Provisions for Health Facilities and Medical Staff / The War on Gaza as a Case Study 2023–2024–2025
The research addresses, through study and analysis, the extent of violations faced by health institutions and medical personnel during the war on Gaza, highlighting the clear breach of international humanitarian law and international conventions that guarantee the protection of these vital groups, and explaining the humanitarian and legal consequences resulting from these violations
The researcher confirmed through his study the necessity of activating international accountability mechanisms against those who violate these provisions, and of working to strengthen international compliance with the protection of medical personnel and healthcare facilities during armed conflicts
This research is published within the framework of Alnoor Journal for Legal Studies’ interest in highlighting current issues that affect human and legal reality, and supporting research efforts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of awareness about the importance of respecting international humanitarian law.
