In the context of the Iraqi Week for Drug Prevention, Alnoor University holds a workshop on protecting university students from drug abuse.

The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department at Alnoor University organized a special workshop on drugs and their negative effects on university students, as well as methods for treatment, within the framework of the Iraqi Week for Drug Prevention. The workshop was supervised by Dr. Ahmed Said Rashid, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department.
On the first day, Sunday, December 1, 2024, three lectures were delivered: "The Concept of Drugs" by Dr. Ahmed Said Rashid, "The Negative Effects of Drug Use" by Assistant Lecturer Asmaa Khalil, and "Methods of Treatment" by Assistant Lecturer Roaa Fares.
On the second day, Monday, December 2, 2024, two lectures were given: the first, "Psychotropic Substances and Their Negative Effects on the Individual and Society" by Dr. Ahmed Said Rashid, and the second, "Drug Crimes and Psychotropic Substances" by Assistant Professor Dr. Fares Ahmed Al-Dulaimi, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Hakim Dhunoon, and Assistant Lecturer Raed Khalaf.
