The Human Rights Unit at the College of Law and Political Science Opens Discussion on the Causes of Divorce in a Scientific Seminar

In the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Ali, Dean of the College of Law and Political Science at Alnoor University, the University's Human Rights Division organized a seminar on the morning of Saturday, April 11, 2026, entitled "Causes of Divorce: Between Reality and Legal Legislation." The seminar was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Qaidar Ahmed Mahmoud. During the event, Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Ali discussed the legal grounds and cases of divorce under Iraqi legislation. Dr. Luay Hikmat Waheed addressed the procedures followed by the courts in issuing divorce judgments, while Assistant Lecturer Saja Bilal Jassim presented the social and psychological causes of divorce.
