Alnoor University concludes the activities of its Drug Prevention Week with a discussion on the status of drugs in relation to Sharia and law.

 As part of the Iraqi Week for Drug Prevention, the College of Law at Alnoor University organized a special seminar on the status of drugs in relation to Sharia and law, held on Wednesday morning, December 4, 2024. The seminar was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Qidar Ahmed Mahmoud from the College of Law. The seminar featured several speakers: Mr. Falah Mahdi Saleh, Director of Media at the Nineveh Directorate for Drug Prevention, discussed the role of the directorate in combating drugs and psychotropic substances and limiting their spread. Assistant Lecturer Raed Shingali spoke about the impact of digital drugs, and Assistant Lecturer Amjad Sharif addressed the issue of drugs in relation to Sharia and law. The seminar was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Fares Ahmed Al-Dulaimi.
