
Under the patronage of the President of Alnoor University, Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, and under the supervision of the Women’s Affairs Division, the liaison members of the Women’s Affairs Units at the university, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul, organized an awareness, educational, and volunteer campaign on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
The campaign was part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence initiative. It included distributing cards and posters containing phrases that encourage women to rely on themselves, face challenges from their surroundings and society, and emphasize the need to stop all forms of violence against them. Distribution took place in the courtyards of Alnoor University, where orange-colored badges and flower bracelets symbolizing the fight against violence toward women were also handed out to participants and female students.
